What is Applejack Wine Society?

Applejack Wine Society is our customer-centric wine club that delivers incredible value. Each month we will offer you a completely personalized recommendation of the highest-rated wines matched to your taste and your budget.

With Wine Society, you are always in complete control. You choose the wine styles for each recommendation. You can customize the selection from our entire catalog. In short, it's wine club that's all about you!

How do you choose which wines I get?

Each month we scour the wine lists for the very best wines available and we load them onto the website. A patented algorithm that picks out the highest rated wines that you haven’t had before, matched to your taste profile, selects the perfect mix just for you.

How do I set my style preferences?

Applejack Wine Society categorizes wine based on the flavor profile to give you a chance to explore varietals and regions that you may not have tried on your own. When you sign up for Wine Society you will select the styles that you wish to receive in each order.

You can change your preferences anytime by logging into your account and clicking on the “Flavor Preferences” option, and selecting a new set of flavor preferences.

Can I choose the wines for each order myself?

We’ll always give you recommendations for the wines we think you’ll like the best, but with Applejack Wine Society, you will always be in control of the wines you receive.

After you get your wine recommendations, you can add any wine from our extensive selection, to your scheduled delivery or you can swap any wine for another that you would prefer.

Will I be charged extra for swapping wines?

If you swap a wine bottle and replace it with a bottle that is the same price, there will be no additional cost to your order.

If a more expensive product is selected as a replacement, the difference between the price of the wine you removed and the selected replacement bottle will be displayed in the catalog as you are making your selections. Once you have chosen your selection, the order total will also be updated to reflect any upgrades.

Can I change my Wine Society plan after I sign up?

You can change your plan at any time, just log in to your account page and select “Manage Membership” within the Membership Information section.

Choose the plan in which you would like to enroll, and click “Change Plan” to save your changes.

You will receive a confirmation that you have successfully updated your plan. We will recommend a new batch of wine based on your newly selected plan.

Can I place an order without being a member?

Yes, you can always place an order via our main store at Applejack.com

What if I don’t want an order this month?

Applejack Wine Society gives you flexibility to ensure you are only getting orders when you want to get them.

To skip your upcoming order log in to your account page and click the View Drop link found in the Wine Tracker at the top of the page.

In this window there is a section labeled Quick Options with two options. You can reschedule your order to the following week or you can skip the month entirely.

Bumping the delivery out a week will clear the wines in your recommendation and reschedule your delivery. We will send you an updated recommendation on the following Monday.

If you choose to skip the delivery entirely your order will be canceled. Your next preview email will arrive the week of your scheduled drop the following month

Can I pause for an extended period of time?

Yes, if you would like to pause for a longer length of time go to your Account page and click the Manage Plan link found in the Account Information section.

On this page you will see options to change your plan. At the bottom of the screen you will find a Pause/Cancel Plan link. Click that link and answer the questions so we can set your account to the appropriate pause length.

Can I cancel my membership anytime?

Of course! If you would like to cancel your membership entirely go to your Account page and click the Manage Plan link found in the Account Information section.

On this page you will see options to change your plan. At the bottom of the screen you will find a Pause/Cancel Plan link. Click that link and answer the questions so we can set your account to the appropriate status for you.

When will I be charged for my order?

We’ll process your order 24 hours after you have received your preview email. Once all wines have been packed and your order is ready for shipment, we will charge your credit card; typically the Wednesday or Thursday following the preview.
